Free online resources on Machine Learning for beginners
- Google — ML Crash Course (15h)
This is a great resource to get started on Machine Learning for anybody because Google has prepared prerequisites before embarking on this course. They included the pre-work and key concepts too. It’s totally great for total newbies. So don’t be discouraged if you may take longer than 15h, esp. if you need to start from the basics, e.g. Math and Python programming. What matters is your takeaway at the end of the course.
2. Coursera — Machine Learning (55 h to complete)
Sign up for an account. When prompted to ‘pay $75 for a certification’, just click the second option. And enjoy your Andrew Ng course for free.
